We’ve witnessed some sudden collaborations over the years — HipDot x Tapatio, Tonymoly x Minions, E.L.F. x Chipotle, and Innisfree x Mentos, simply to call a number of comparatively current ones — so that you’d assume by now that nothing would shock us. But depart it to Benefit Cosmetics to completely shock us, and in the most nice of the way, with its new out-of-left-field but fully cute collab with — of all manufacturers — Crocs.
The iconic make-up model has introduced that it is launching two kinds of Crocs — sure, the rubbery slip-on footwear that no less than one individual you understand (maybe your self) is obsessive about to the level that you just now perceive Crocs-specific terminology and different elements of the… “culture.” And the designs completely marry Benefit’s and Crocs’ aesthetics.
Of course, there’s the Classic Clog ($70), which has been revamped to look so very Benefit, due largely to a translucent glitter jelly higher. And the Jibbitz? (That’s what the Croc world calls the charms that diehards add to their footwear, in case you did not know.) They’re solely the most glamorous ones you ever did see, together with an actual mirror. In the phrases of Allure‘s deputy editor, Kara McGrath, “I feel like having a compact mirror on your shoe is just so handy!” Where is the lie?
